A 1966 Chevrolet Caprice in its original condition!
We have very rarely seen a 60-year-old car in such pristine and unaltered condition, which also gives it that indescribable sense of authenticity that only an “unmodified” car can provide…..
As far as we can tell, the car still has its original paint from 1966, apart from the fact that the hood and trunk lid were repainted a long time ago, and a refurbished engine compartment; other than that, we can’t see anything that deviates from the original, which is very unusual considering the car is 60 years old!
The car has been in the same family in the U.S. since it was new and has only been driven 71,200 miles—which is just 11,390 Swedish mil—and you can really tell: it’s quiet and tight like few others!
White with light blue interior—it’s practically brand new! (There is, however, a seam in the driver’s seat cushion that has been thoroughly repaired.)
Capricen’s interior design is second to none when it comes to the ’60s—it’s so stylish!
A nice Chevrolet 327 with a PowerGlide transmission. Power steering, power brakes, power-adjustable seat, tilt steering wheel, and the original radio and antenna!
The Owner’s Protection Plan is included with the original tag still attached; custom accessories and the Owner’s Guide are included with the car, and 90% of the annual insurance cards have been preserved!
We’ve installed Impala hubcaps with spinners on the car because we think they look better than the original Caprice hubcaps, but the originals are in the trunk and are included!
The car comes from Spokane, Washington; we’ve bought many cars from that area, and as a rule, they’ve held up very well—and this car is a prime example of that!
