Impala -58….it is one of the most popular cars from the end of the -50s, to get such a car with a modern feel must be optimal!
Here we present a car that is completely new right through, and that without any barriers in terms of working hours or costs….there was only one goal when this project was started and that was high standards!
Completely renovated and modified chassis to fit with a completely new powertrain, here is a Chevrolet LS3 of 430hp and 575nm with a superMatic 4L65-E automatic directly from the factory.
There is also a new Ford 9″ rear axle with 3:25 in gear ratio, 3.5″ cardan shaft, tubular control arms, boxed rear control arms, rack and pinion steering, Willwood dual circuit brakes and so on….
The inside shows some mildly delicious customstuk without taking away the feeling of the late -50swith modern instruments, tinted windows, 4 electric lifts, center console with built-in Alpine system complete with hands-free, telephone and navigation, cup holders, rear view camera, central locking, keyless-entry, electrically opened glove compartment door, modern start & stop button, remote-controlled electric opening of the trunk lid, chairs that you sit like cast in, for those who like details with cuts, there is more to discover everywhere, the whole interior dressed very nicely in the same color scale.
Under the hood, everything is extremely neat and even there the thinking with details goes again, very delicious!
Likewise in the trunk….dressed and nicely detailed with many special solutions!
It is not possible to explain in writing everything that has been done, but everything that has been done has been done by professionals in the field, here has been working full time on the project and very many talented actors have contributed in their own way.
Overall, a fantastic car with a cruel feeling, rich in detail with many clever solutions and technology that is not visible….getting in the car, pressing the start button, putting in the gear and pulling away gives an incredibly modern pleasant feeling, it’s just to get on and go as far as you want….optimal would like to call it!
