1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible!
This car has been mostly restored, and very well at that; the work done is truly excellent, and the car is in excellent condition all around—it’s just as nice underneath as it looks on the outside!
The car is a beautiful red with a white vinyl convertible top and a pearlescent interior—a very stylish combination that makes a great impression!
Same owner since 1990, when the car was imported—that’s 36 years with the same owner….not many people keep a car that long!
A little over 10 years ago, a decision was made to thoroughly restore the car, and it was taken apart piece by piece, then all the damaged sheet metal was replaced with new parts; the entire floor, front and rear, was replaced with brand-new material; even the frame was purchased new; and subsequently, everything was painted in a satin-matte finish, so it looks very neat….Everything that goes into a renovation like this has been done, and it’s been done right—a truly fine job!
After that, the entire car was painted in sections and reassembled; most of the chrome is new or has been rechromed; all the rubber parts have been replaced; and a brand-new, complete interior in white mother-of-pearl has been installed—including the carpets, kick panels, sun visors, dashboard, steering wheel, convertible top, and so on….
The trunk is very neat, as is the engine compartment, which has now been refurbished… and the carburetor has also been refurbished; the car starts and runs very smoothly and has a wonderful sound coming from the dual exhaust pipes…
It has a lively and smooth 350 engine, a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, a 12-bolt rear axle, and so on…
