The attractive location has given Mellerud a given place among the major tourist destinations in Sweden. The Dalsland Canal with the aqueduct in H\u00e5verud is a popular destination. Vita Sannar (Dalsland Riviera) with its fine sandy beach and well-known campsite is another popular tourist destination. Not far from there is the new recognized fine golf course with 18 + 9 holes, as well as Sunnan\u00e5s beautiful guest harbor. At the moment, housing is being built both privately and municipally to meet the high demand for both houses and apartments. <\/p>\n To live in Mellerud is to have the benefit of living in the countryside but still be close to the big city, for example only about 1 hour by train to Gothenburg! Just 5 minutes by bike from the center of Mellerud is Sunnan\u00e5 harbor, the area has recently been renewed and expanded with, among other things, a number of detached villas, about 100 boathouses on land, and a number of floating boathouses, new service building, a new launching ramp and new piers. Here you can fish from the edge of the jetty, and at the same time look out over V\u00e4nern’s pristine archipelago, there is no crowding, you can very easily find your own little gem in an undisturbed bay, or on a nice archipelago islet. Adjacent to the harbor you will find Sunnan\u00e5 Skeppskrog where you can be served good food, coffee, ice cream and more in a cozy and scenic environment, Every Tuesday evening during the summer at 18-21 there is also a very well attended car meeting with classic cars, motorcycles & mopeds, well worth a visit! <\/p>\n Sunnan\u00e5 has over the years grown into a major center for Trolling fishermen. Sunnan\u00e5 harbor met the requirements to get the blue flag in 2005, this means that a number of requirements in terms of management, water quality, safety, service and environmental information must be met. Only a few minutes away is Mellerud Golf Club’s fine facility. <\/p>\n Here you will find one of Sweden’s finest beaches, right next door you will also find Vita Sandars Camping, a 4-star facility that has 250 places and can offer something for everyone. There is adventure golf, a heated swimming pool and many other activities for both young and old. <\/p>\n A golf course that is in the middle of a fantastic development, you will find 18 holes of very good bank quality, there are also nice practice areas with driving range and putting green. Here you can buy or rent nice homes in a very attractive environment, in addition there is a very good restaurant with a fantastic lunch buffet during the weeks, but is also open with nice offers during the weekends! A padel hall will also be built here soon. <\/p>\n Just north of Mellerud you will find H\u00e5verud, the place where the Dalsland Canal flows above ground, under both a railroad bridge and a road bridge. From here, there are several boat trips that take you up along the canal. Kroppefj\u00e4ll with its spa hotel and hostel has also become known as an area for recreation and recovery. <\/p>\n Mellerud has a diversity of companies in both the manufacturing and service sectors. In total, there are around 700 companies in Mellerud, the vast majority of which are small businesses.<\/p>\n Major companies in the area include Emballator Mellerud Plast AB, Daloc Skyddsrum AB, JOAB and Hellbergs D\u00f6rrar AB.<\/p>\n We can offer attractive land for industry and trade right next to Highway 45 with unique signage locations, as well as completed plots for villa construction with a very attractive location about 2 km from the center and about 5 minutes walk to Vita Sannars camping & bathing area, golf course and Sunnan\u00e5 boat harbor.<\/p>\n Here you will find a variety of companies, including Oscarssons Bil AB, and the area is under constant development.
