A really nice & attractive “chromeOlds”, one of the most popular cars in the late 50’s, and not so easy to find today!
Here you will find a really solid “original car” that is not screwed up or has had 25 owners like many others have had!
According to the previous owner, the car has had 1 owner between 1958-2009, then owner no. 2 in 2009-until it was sold to Sweden in 2012.
Then owner no. 3 bought the car in 2013 and did a really nice cosmetic renovation for a few years, the car which has a fantastic body was sanded the plates and got a very nice paint in parts, it also got the engine compartment renovated and everything that such an operation entails… here is also the undercarriage very nice & painted!
Inside the car, the roof was replaced, everything that is painted got new paint and re-clad dashboard, otherwise the interior is completely original and in a very nice condition f.u. some cracks in the backrest in the driver’s seat, but after 63 years it speaks its clear language: This car has never been bad, but has been well taken care of since it was new!
The meter reading is 86144 miles and corresponds to 13,800 miles, this should be correct according to the previous owner but it is nothing that can be guaranteed after so many years, but if you look at the whole, details and the feeling, there is nothing that contradicts this!
In the trunk it is completely original, but the trunk lid is of course painted on the inside.
Good original chrome all around, except for the taillight chrome which is re-chromed!
The car runs very nicely and is really quiet & nice to drive, good feeling!
PS-PB. original radio. modern stereo in the glove compartment without destroying anything, option capsules from Ninety Eight, brand new radial tires with wide white side.
The job that has been done is done by a skilled professional and there are many photos from the renovation, so overall a very good & nice original car that has received the above “touchup” and it’s just to turn the key and cruise out on the summer roads…
