This is a car with a unique history, and is a Special Order from Cadillac!

The renovator has several Biarritz renovations behind him and knows these cars down to the smallest detail, and also has the feeling for both the whole & details!
About 8,000 hours of work and huge sums of money have been spent during the 16 years it has taken to renovate the car, but it has resulted in what we consider to be one of the world’s finest renovated Biarritz -58s!
The car was ordered and delivered directly from the factory to a senior executive of the GM division in Lynbrock New York, and not through a regular dealer.
Owner number two, Michael. F Sagesse and his wife bought the car from the first owner as a wedding present to themselves in New York in 1962 and drove it down to Nashville Tennessee where they lived, they then put the car down for good in 1975!
The car was ordered as a “special order” with the 5 fully cast chrome Brougham wheels that are on the car, and actually could not be ordered for the car, but due to the first buyer’s position within GM, this was arranged anyway!
In addition to the basic Eldorado version, the car is ordered with air conditioning. Airride. Electronic eye. E-Z Eye Glass. gold anodized grill. Even a brand new hardboot is available for the car!

A fantastically detailed photo documentation of about 1500 pictures of the renovation is available for a serious speculator!
A huge amount of money spent during the renovation, only the renovation of the 5 forged rims was already offered in 2013 with about 200.000: -, it says a little about how this renovation is conceived & carried out!
Incidentally, the design of the rims is reminiscent of the hubcaps that were original on the Eldorado cars 1959 – 1960.
