1971 Chevrolet El Camino!
This is something special for those looking for a car with a really high level!
It was imported to Sweden in the early wave of imports in the 70s, only 8 years old.
In 1994 it ended up at El Camino specialist Ahls Auto Parts here in Sweden!
Ahl drove it for a number of years, before starting a total frame-off renovation in the early 2000s!
The bar was set high. Everything was assembled and the goal was absolute top class!
Ahl had already collected a lot of original parts before the project began.
This was done during trips to the USA in the 80s and 90s, when it was still possible to find original parts!
The project went ahead and was ready for painting, but then other projects got in the way and El Caminon was put aside for a long time!
In the fall of 2016, Nian Classic became the owner, and together with El-Camino expert Ahl, the project was re-launched.
After a lot of work and money, the car was completed in mid-2017 and the result is brilliant, a fantastic car from the bottom plate up, very high level throughout!
The car was originally Lime green with green interior.
But there are two ways to determine the color of a car.
That’s when you buy new and when you renovate!
In consultation with Ahl, it was decided that the car would be “Triple Black” with SS dark yellow discreet stripes on the hood.
Black car with black interior and black vinyl roof and it became incredibly delicious!
